The Pool House
The heart of The Onyx is a private 20′ x 40′ heated indoor saltwater pool, open all year. Skylights fill the room with daylight, and sliding doors open right onto the deck and picnic area.
There’s a basketball hoop poolside, plenty of seating around the edge, and a bathroom right in the pool house, so nobody has to drip through the kitchen.
Where Everyone Sleeps
A main-level bedroom with a queen bed and views out to the trees.

The Layout
Everything sits on one main level: the kitchen, dining room, arcade room, living room, and two bedrooms, with the pool house and its own bath just off the kitchen. A spiral stair in the living room leads up to the open loft with two more queen beds. Tap the plan to enlarge it.

Yes. Our private indoor saltwater pool is heated and open year-round, so The Onyx is a great getaway in every season.
Absolutely. The Onyx was created with families in mind: a place to slow down, have fun together, explore the Shenandoah Valley, and reconnect away from the busyness of everyday life.
Up to 8 guests, with 3 sleeping areas and 5 queen beds. The nightly rate includes up to 5 guests. Guests 6, 7 and 8 are $50 per additional guest, per night.
Most stays have a 2-night minimum. Major holidays and peak fall weekends require a 3-night minimum.
Yes. We welcome up to 2 approved pets for a pet fee. Please include your pets when you book so we can prepare.
A one-time cleaning fee of $325 is charged per stay. A pet fee applies if you’re bringing pets, and guests 6, 7 and 8 are $50 per guest, per night. Everything is itemized before you confirm your booking.

A 50% deposit is due when you book, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before you arrive.
Check-in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am. We ask guests to keep to these times so our team can properly prepare the home for each family.
Yes. Free on-site parking, with an EV charging station next to the parking area. Parking and arrival details come with your booking.
Yes, Starlink high-speed internet, so you can stay connected when you need to. We hope you’ll find plenty of reasons to put the devices away.
