The Onyx sits in Luray, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Some days you’ll want to be tubing the river or hiking a ridge trail. Other days nobody will want to leave the pool. Either way, you’re close to the best of the Valley.

The river is just minutes from the house, with outfitters close by for tubing, kayaking, and canoeing. Spend the day on the water or fishing, then come back to the pool.
Drive Skyline Drive along the Blue Ridge, stop at the overlooks, and pick a trail for any age or ability.
Walk through underground rooms full of stalactites and stone formations. A great plan for a rainy afternoon.
Local restaurants, shops, and coffee a short drive away. Or bring a local private chef to the house for a night in.
